Another successful year has come and gone. We saw significant growth and innovation in 2013, and are looking forward to good things to come in 2014. Here’s a summary of some of the year’s highlights.
TrainingPort.net attended a number of conferences and conventions in 2013, both North American and international. These included the Canadian Business Aviation Association Convention in June and the US National Business Aviation Association Convention in October. Our booth received great traffic at both events, and we enjoyed greeting many new and familiar faces. We proudly helped sponsor the Flight Safety Foundation’s Business Aviation Safety Seminar in April.
Also in April, we attended the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition in Shanghai. At the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Geneva in May, we signed an important agreement establishing a strategic sales and representation alliance with AeroEx, GmbH. In August, we were in Sao Paolo at the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition.
TrainingPort.net President and Founder Scott Macpherson was invited to speak at the 4th Annual China and Portuguese Speaking Countries Airports Conference in Macau in September. His well-received presentation covered airport infrastructure requirements for business aviation.
In 2013, we deployed several important enhancements to our system. These included additional expiry warning features that will help trainees stay current, as well as several features allowing managers to group trainees and more easily oversee schedules. Early in the year, we deployed additional media formats that allowed us to achieve full compatibility with all mobile devices without diminishing our interactive capabilities.
We released new topics for pilots and maintenance personnel, including:
We also revamped a number of our existing topics, among them Survival Principles, Hazard Communication, and Performance Airspace.
We look forward to another busy and successful year in 2014!
