TrainingPort.net was very busy at NBAA 2013. We started off with our press conference, where we presented press releases for some new topics: Radar Initial, Single Pilot Resource Management, Maintenance Resource Management, Organizational Resource Management (as a part of Client Service), and others.
At the press conference, we also highlighted our service to US Part 135 operators, particularly the EU regulatory compliance consulting expertise of AeroEx GmbH, our European representative, as we sought to inform non-EU commercial operators about the March 2014 application of the EU Third Country Operator (TCO) rules. AIN Online wrote a very good article about our services, which you can read here.
One highlight of the show was that our booth doubled in size from last year to cover a 20′ by 20′ space with three of our SMEs and AeroEx in the corners. This demonstrated the breadth of our network of allied SMEs and consultants, supporting and assisting one another for the benefit of our clients, each participant, and TrainingPort.net.
The design of the booth and our graphics physically emphasized the independence and mutually beneficial support of each party while allowing room to meet and move within the space. On the first day of the show, we were pleased to see many of our current clients as they came to say hello, provide feedback, and inquire about additional services.
The second day was so busy with new clients that we didn’t have the opportunity to step out of the booth for lunch or breaks, but we were very pleased with the awareness of TrainingPort.net and the sincere, strong interest of so many future clients.
The final day was characterized by people returning to the booth to ask further questions and to set up follow-up meetings. All in all, a successful and engaging convention. We thank all who came to visit us, and look forward to speaking again with many of you in the coming weeks.
