Performance-Based Communication and Surveillance (PBCS) is the next step in ICAO’s global plan that has seen the expansion of Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) using RNAV and RNP. PBCS is divided into Required Communications Performance (RCP) and Required Surveillance Performance (RSP) specifications.
